3 things - March 2009

to recap Feb:

1. write 100+ words of poetry each day in Feb 2009 and
Edit Vicelini Book I and post to lj (target 3/31/09)
++ i'm ahead of pace, i think, on my second draft of vicelini edits, but after a week of poetry i decided i had enough, heh

2. Read Away: A Novel and book 2 of Les Miserables
++ i totally rocked reading this month - i finished Away 2/16 and i actually read through book 4 of Les Mis

3. Lose 1 pound (January 2009 ~ 175) doing aerobics 2-3 times per week and
Lose 2 pounds (February 2009 ~ 173) with extra strength/weight training
++ i'm having trouble getting my fitness goals off the ground this year - it's not rocket science, but i haven't been making time for my workouts and i haven't been meal planning. i didn't gain any weight (miraculous!) since jan, but i'm +1 for the year overall. by the end of march, my original goal was to be -5 from where i am now

technically, i'm 2 things behind for the challenge already, but if i can get all of my march goals done, i'll end up +1

March 2009

1. continue to Edit Vicelini Book I (target 3/31/09)

2. Read book 5 (last book) of Les Miserables and
(From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Univ series) The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

3. Lose 5 pounds (January-March 2009 ~ 172) alternating aerobics, weights, and yoga every day of the week and doing weekly meal planning to watch my calorie intake

3 things - February 2009

to recap Jan:

1. Retype handwritten Vicelini Book I pages (~30 double-sided composition book pages)
++ finished that this morning

2. Read The Reader by Berhard Schlink
++ done

3. Lose 1 pound (January 2009 ~ 175) building a yoga habit 2-3 times per week
++ i actually never did yoga all month, though i was doing aerobics, but i gained 1 pound instead of lost 1, so this rolls over; however i finished reading a second book this month so i still managed to check 3 things off my list for jan
